Jessica Wallis

Jessica is a Partner in our Sydney office, specialising in commercial real estate.

Jessica works with a number of Australia’s leading property owners and developers, fund managers, REITs and global investors, on their investment and major project work.

Jessica has broad experience acting on a wide range of real estate transactions. Her expertise includes acquisitions and disposals (both direct and indirect), property developments and major projects, property investment, joint ventures and co-ownership arrangements, and property financing and refinancing. She is well-versed in the range of issues associated with large scale property projects including structuring, stamp duty, and titling.

She also has experience advising on real estate aspects of corporate and banking transactions and brings global experience from her 3 years spent working in commercial real estate in London. Jessica was recognised as a Rising Star (Property & Real Estate) in Doyles Guide 2017.


  • Advising AMP Capital in connection with the proposed redevelopment of the Quay Quarter Precinct, including advising in connection with the divestment of a one-third interest in the completed Quay Quarter Tower to REST
  • Advising Charter Hall in connection with the initial public offering of the Charter Hall Long WALE REIT, the largest ever diversified real estate trust to list on the ASX as well as subsequent restructuring transactions for the REIT
  • Advising AMP Capital on the c.$430M acquisition of 33 Alfred Street by two unlisted AMP funds
  • Advising Charter Hall on its acquisition, on a fund-through basis, of 105 Phillip Street, Parramatta, a fit-for purpose 25,000 sqm A-grade office pre-committed to Property NSW
  • Advising Lendlease and investors in connection with the acquisition and development of Tower 1 in Lendlease’s Barangaroo South precinct, including advising on development, titling and investment management matters
  • Advising Corval in connection with its acquisition and divestment program across Australia, including structuring and general real estate advice
  • Advising Lend Lease on the acquisition, by a Lend Lease led consortium, of the ING retail property portfolio (which included centres across Australia and New Zealand)
  • Advising PAG in connection with their general financing matters and more complex restructuring and enforcement transactions.
  • Acting on the financing of 25 retirement villages via AU$228 million mezzanine facility and AU$20 million convertible facility
