KWM advises joint lead managers on SF Holding’s guaranteed notes worth US$1.2 billion

King & Wood Mallesons advised the joint lead managers on the issuance of three series of guaranteed notes by SF Holding Investment 2021 Limited in the aggregate amount of approximately US$1.2 billion. The notes were guaranteed by SF Holding Co., Ltd. (SF).

SF is China’s largest comprehensive logistics service provider, and was the fourth largest express enterprise worldwide in terms of market capitalisation as at 30 June 2021.

This successful closing continues to showcase KWM’s strength in offering seamless one-stop-shop legal support with KWM acting for the joint lead managers in respect of both PRC law and international law. The team was led by Guangzhou-based partner Haotian Sun and Hong Kong-based partner Song Yue, with support from Rachel Wang and Yuna Lou in Hong Kong and Jiaolin Wen and Bin Xiao in Guangzhou.

Any reference to “Hong Kong” or “Hong Kong SAR” shall be construed as a reference to “Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People’s Republic of China”.
