King & Wood Mallesons has received the Platinum Award at the 21st annual City of London Clean City Awards Scheme for the fourth year running.
Established in 1994, the Clean City Awards Scheme aims to promote good waste management practices amongst businesses in the City whilst also encouraging waste minimisation, reuse and recycling. The scheme rewards organisations that demonstrate excellence in waste management as well as a commitment to working sustainably.
The City of London judging panel praised King & Wood Mallesons for the many internal initiatives ranging from taking steps to improve air quality through to clearer signage and how-to guides on the waste management systems.
Of the firm, the judges said: “King & Wood Mallesons continues to make improvements to their environmental performance and communications is key to these improvements. They strive to raise awareness around environmental issues through well designed communication campaigns for their staff. “

Each year over 1,600 organisations participate in the Clean City Awards Scheme, ranging from small shops and food outlets to large multinational companies and financial institutions.
