His experience resulted in a book entitled "Introduction to Legal Practices of International Transactions", which was published in 2011 from Civil Law Research Association.

Ryunosuke Ushijima joined King & Wood Mallesons Law Offices (Foreign Law Joint Enterprise) in 2018. Prior to that, he served as an associate attorney Ushijima & Associates from 1990 to 1997, as an associate attorney of Miyake & Yamazaki from 1997 to 2002, as a partner of Miyake & Yamazaki from 2002 to 2016, and as a partner of Miyake, Ushijima & Imamura from 2017 to 2018.
Ryunosuke Ushijima graduated from Waseda University, LL.B. in 1984 and New York University Law School, M.C.J. in 1996.
He was admitted as a lawyer in 1990 (Dai-ni Tokyo Bar Association) and admitted to the practices of law in New York in 1997.
His working languages are Japanese and English.
