TheCityUK supported by King & Wood Mallesons has published its Capital markets for growing companies: A review of the European Listings Regime report, which was commissioned by the Chancellor of the Exchequer, the Rt. Hon George Osborne MP.
King & Wood Mallesons was asked to oversee the production and authorship of a report to provide an understanding of how markets can work better for firms of all sizes and followed on from the work conducted by the firm in the consultation process and authorship of TheCityUK’s response to the European Commission’s Prospectus Directive Review.
The lead authors of the report were Corporate partners Delphine Currie and Joseph Newitt together with associate Amy Grammer.
This report follows the firm’s recent success as being ranked no 2 for Global IPOs for issuer adviser in Bloomberg’s H1 Global Legal Adviser League Tables and draws on the experience and insight of teams in both EMEA and AisaPac offices.
The steering group responsible for delivering the report was led by its Chairman Nick Anstee (Senior Director at KWM) and comprised senior practitioners from Citigroup, Fidelity, Lloyd’s Banking Group, Deloitte, Deutsche, KPMG, Morgan Stanley, Oliver Wyman, Slaughter & May and City of London Law Society. The report also included contributions from a wider consultation group of stakeholders in the City.
