Darren is a disputes partner with broad experience across all aspects of major commercial disputes typically spanning multiple jurisdictions. Darren also advises clients in relation to internal and regulator led investigations with a focus on corruption, “McMafia” style money laundering and sanctions busting.

Darren's clients range from prestigious UK public schools, musicians, high-net-worth families and Scandinavian “green energy” start-ups to Russian oligarchs, Chinese tech giants and state-owned enterprises investing in key UK energy and infrastructure assets.

Darren has been recognised by the prestigious Black British Business Awards as finalist in the financial services category which recognises business excellence. 

Darren has been named by the legal industry publication the Lawyer as one of their “Hot 100” UK lawyers.
